Batchwork

I work in batches in my studio. Once I have worked on a design- sketching, prototyping, making a rough pattern, tweaking the pattern, etc- then it is time for a small batch. Making one of something doesn’t make sense except in those early phases of design. Here is a small batch of my “5 Petal” small bags in the process of being constructed.

New Studio- A Place Called Home

For the last 4 years my studio has been in a rented space, before that it was in a space that was part of my father’s shop. Finally, Cimarrona has a permanent home.┬áTake a look at the time lapse of the studio going up. It is a very exciting time and I will share more of the inside of the new space soon!

Studio Open House is Saturday December 19

  December 19 from 10 am – 5 pm I will open the doors of the studio to friends that want to stop in, visit, have a refreshment and do a little Christmas shopping. This year guests will also have a chance to meet and pick up the work of a number of maker friends and family members.
