Researching color trends is something I spend a lot of time doing. While I may love certain combinations of mustard, gray, black and crimson- not everybody does. And I am in a business where it is not just about what I like- but what others like and will find appealing. As an artist there is always the question of “Who am I creating this for?” and while the act of creating is always for me- the results are usually (although not always) for public consumption.
